hi all,
This year, I scheduled a lot of activity during certain critical seasons, and this is the final class I'm teaching on astrology in the warm weather.
It's a useful class for those who need INSIGHT on when to move forward or stand still on the job. Customized for those who sign up -- do call Teresa and reserve a spot. This is a lot of fun for me to talk about and you can plan your next 6 months of projects. And if you're at a critical point (6.5 years on the job, 3.5 years, aquarius, taurus, scorpio having major growing pains since 05) this will help....Also, I'm on WCRN, 830 am monday at 11:45 a.m.
Thursday, May 31, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
SHOOT FOR THE MOON -- Using lunar phases for fun and profit in business.
At The Healthy Side,
222 Main Street, Townsend *
call 978-597-0009 to reserve a place
Cost: $50 (includes 2007 Llewellyn astrological calendar)
Sometimes the stars align - and other times, no matter how sharp your Powerpoint, you can't catch a break. The Moon's monthly cycles DO play a role in your business life. Everyone's had some experience with "full-moon" behaviors, but each Moon phase and transit can affect sales, finance, administration, education, even IT.
Learn how to use lunar phases for your own advantage: knowing when to reach out to others, and when to work on your own. When is the best time for a sales-pitch? When is it best to sit back and let doubts gather about the competition? When is the best time to invest? And when's the best time to start looking for another job?
THIS is where clients can learn to cook with gas. You've been totally correct in interpreting what I've been saying, and this class will be customized to those who sign up so that you will LEARN when to move forward and when to ...stand. still....

Hey Sally,
I know there are two full moons this month...blue moon the second one? What's the story on conflicting info though about previous blue moons? I've read that the last one was in July of 2005 and then I also read it was Feb. 2004.
Thanks,
Virgo here.
Hmmm. My ephemeris is in my car (b/c I'm doing astrological tarot readings tomorrow at Roots (rootsnaturalfoods.com) but yes, we have a blue moon month in June (using Universal Time, because here in the east, the full moon comes late Thursday evening, May 31).
Blue moons are less rare than one might think. Folklore gives folks born during that month an extra zap of *special charisma-relationship-with-fate.* I was once asked to look up the astrology of a child who'd died tragically, famously young (age 7 -- it was national news at the time -- one of those kids who'd been pushed into doing something daring by ambitious parents). She had been born in a month with a blue moon and perished during a month with a blue moon. That has always stayed with me.....

...in 20 minutes. I have to say, I like having my Llewellyn calendar in fron tof me with all the angles right there. Plus, the sun enters Gemini today, which should free things up for the air people. Gemini is one of those signs that can be scarily high-function while seeming totally fragmented. I've seen extremely dysfunctional and self-destructive gems, including a woman I used to know who probably had some kind of bipolar thing going on because she would fall deeply in love approximately every six weeks. Mostly with ne'er do wells, and just when she'd figure that out, along would come another one. It's amazing the stuff you have time for when you don't have to support yourself. At this point, I don't seem to know any Geminis figuring out the two people they are but my advice to parents would be Expect More Than One Personality.

Last time I tried to do an entry I got one of those error messages so who knows what's up with that....
Okay, the news:
I rescued a mouse from the siamanxalleycat who's usually a pudge but this time cleared out a nest. There was one survivor who is probably less than 2 weeks old. So we are fostering him and there is nothing more adorable than a mouse smaller than your thumb slowly working his way thru an almond chip.
I am now on WCRN at 11:45 a.m., Mondays talking to Hank Stolz and his cohorts. That's 830 AM. I'm still on WTAG Friday at 8:45 and I've changed my time on WEIM to Tuesday at 6:05. I'll be on WEIM 1280 AM for an hour next Friday from 6 to 7 talking about astrology because the next day, May 26, 11 to 4, I'm at ROOTS in Leominster (rootsnaturalfoods.com). Frankly, this is a lot of activity given Mars has been in Pisces but now that it's in Aries, I can feel myself taking on A Lot again......
Will be teaching at Cambridge Center (ccae.org, class code STAR) on Sunday, May 27. My assumption is people WONT go away for wkend, especially with gas at $3 a gallon (don't worry, it will go way down for the next election...). And my quick advice for those who gamble, if you're a Leo, your day to do this is June 4 to 6....

Dear Sally,
Why are Capricorns so hateable right now?
Isn't this supposed to be the YEAR of SAG? Why are Cappies getting their way all the time lately???
Why?!
Thanks,
Sad Sag
Dear Sad Sag
Have you TALKED to a Cap??
You'll NEVER hear them admitting to getting their own way!
Here's the deal with this being the "year of Sagittarius"
You guys are getting a Jupiter return, which generally amounts to "unexpected opportunities emerging, which also need to be claimed and later earned." What this means is that if someone recommends you for a job -- don't think that's enough. And if horrible things are happening (illness, angst, disruption), it's cold comfort to know things could be worse. Sagittarius is generally an upbeat sign, as are all fire signs, and eager to move onto the next thing. This week, those of you born on or around December 8-12 get a second look at activities that were prominent in February and March.
And, if it helps, Mother's Day through the solstice will be a time of gear-grinding for Caps (also Libra and Cancer, who'll probably do more whining about it)
thanks for writing

Hugh Grant arrested again. I have told ALL Virgo friends that April to mother's day would be a wowza. Lots of upsndowns, lots of stress and anxiety-provoking stimuli. Virgo is NOT the calmest sign in the zodiac -- all that pickiness has to find an outlet and Virgo's big challenge is living in a world where the standards of others do NOT measure up to their own.
But I still love the guy.....You have to admire the style -- baked beans at a photog. What could be MORE of a mess to clean up?
