Neon Indian secret show in ...the South End!
FRIDAY UPDATE: The word is out! The free Neon Indian show will go down Sunday at 540 Harrison Ave., at the Power Station -- which makes sense for the "Secret Generator Series." Doors open at 3pm. Woot!
So Levi's & Urban Outfitters this week unveiled two clues as to where, oh where, Sunday's free Neon Indian afternoon show will be held. Last week we told you it was going to be in a non-traditional space, powered by a generator, and over the weekend UO threw a Deerhunter concert under an overpass in Chicago, so anything is possible with this here "Secret Generator Series."
But based on these clues and our best Google Maps street-view sleuthing, our guess is that the location is in the South End, around 425 to 580 Harrison Ave., in either an old MBTA bus garage building or the power station, near the SoWa Open Market. That's our toss-shit-against-a-wall pick, anyway, but we're pretty sure of it. Here's a better look:
Another clue drops tomorrow, then the official announcement arrives on Friday. The Sunday show starts at 4pm, meaning we'll get maximum chillwave in day-lit hours. Ace.
