Though we took it home with us, I tasted a slice while it was still warm (ah, the duties of a food reviewer!), and it was as delicious as it sounds. Spinach, Gorgonzola, dried cranberries, caramelized onions, covered with the chef's favorite — a balsamic glaze. I have to assume there was also mozzarella, for the melted cheese was not as strong as Gorgonzola — you only got a hit of that now and again. But the combination was addicting. There was a bit of a tussle over splitting the last piece, when we ate it the next day.
The Junction has several promotions to bring in more customers, including curbside delivery from 4 to 8 pm, live music on Wednesday nights, Sunday night NFL football in the bistro, and membership cards to earn enough points for a free meal. It's a fun and friendly neighborhood place, with some fabulous specialty pizzas.
