Voting Day: The early word on the Massachusetts Senate special election

I've got little or nothing useful to tell you at this stage of the game (so, if you're hoping to be the next AG, just keep your britches cool for a while). Boston looks like it's going to have lower turnout than the Mayoral primary, probably a little under 20%. Somerville -- Capuano's home base -- looks a little higher. The rest of the state is low, low, low, from what I'm hearing. Capuano folks want turnout to be steady in and around Cap's district, meaning Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston, and low everywhere else in the state -- where people barely know who he is. Coakley would like to see folks around the state stop to vote on their way home from work. And the other two guys want whatever stars they're hoping will align to do so quickly. CW would say Pags would need huge turnout, Khazei would want tiny turnout.

I'll be doing Twitter updates later tonight, so please come follow me there (@dbernstein), and please friend me on Facebook as well!
