Thursday, November 8: “The Unpeoples & the Elections: A Debriefing with Noam Chomsky, Vijay Prashad & Val Moghadam” @ Old South Church in Boston, 7--9:30pm
Three activist thinkers, Noam Chomsky, Vijay Prashad and Val Moghadam, come together for a globally-televised evening of conversation and reflection on the election results. Thursday, November 8: “Inga Muscio & the Invisible War” @ Boston University, 5:30--9pm
Join the feminists and activists at BU’s Center for Gender, Sexuality, and Activism for a screening of The Invisible War, a striking documentary looking into sexual assault in the US military. (Watch the trailer, above.) Following the screening, feminist writer Inga Muscio, author of Cunt: A Declaration of Independence, discusses sexual assault in institutions and self-defense.
