YOUNG LONDON

CLASS OF 2012 TRACK "LET ME GO" [Listen] [Download]

Shoppers who hit the malls this past December likely heard Young London's fiery electro-pop single "Let Me Go" bouncing out of a few streetwear retailers. The duo of Matt Rhoades and Sarah Graziani will see their homonymous debut full-length released worldwide through Seattle's Fugitive Records this Tuesday, and are intent on showing the rest of the country that dance music — with a bull's-eye on the back of the Top 40 — can come out of an old-brat city like Boston. Before becoming an electro producer, Rhoades cut his teeth in the metal and hardcore scene growing up in Massachusetts, and Graziani takes her cues from the likes of Regina Spektor. When they're together, something erupts — the kind of Euro-thumping, anthemic techno-pop that's normally foreign to these parts.
