In the nowhere Norwegian mountain town of Skoddeheimen, Alma, 15, is bored with her surroundings, alienated from her mom, and so horny that she pays for a telephone sex service. Furthermore, she is a pariah at her high school, because the other kids think she's a pervert. There's perhaps a witty way to tell this story, but filmmaker Jannicke Systad Jacobsen hasn't found it. What's on screen is stilted and dull, not helped by willowy blonde Helene Bergsholm in the lead, more suited to modeling than acting.
