Wear a light jacket, and skip the coat check for minimum hassle. Keep in mind there will be thousands of people clutching wine glasses around you. Think aerodynamic.
Map your top choices before attacking the show floor, in order to find some new favorites before you're too tipsy to tell the difference.
Take advantage of the seminars, especially if you're new to the wine world. This is where the Expo pulls out the big guns, and the prices are a steal for what you're getting: private time with the industry's finest, plenty of complimentary vino, and in most cases, small food pairings.
The Boston Wine Expo Grand Tastings take place at The Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard, on Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22, from 1-5 pm.
