FELA!, the dance show by Bill T. Jones, made it onto the screen in January with a live performance simulcast at local movies houses from the National Theater of Britain. Live dance, especially ballet and contemporary dance, is still resistant to decent filming, though when Fela got the audience up on its feet to try some pelvic gyrations, I wanted to join in.
